Morgan Showroom Opening

Yesterday saw clients, business associates, industry professionals and the press flock to our brand new Clerkenwell showroom for a day that fused sketching, history lessons and a launch party that proved to be one of the true highlights of Clerkenwell Design Week.

Kicking off with three interactive workshops – led by the talented Stewart Dodd of Satellite Architects – participants gained an insight into the history of sketching that incorporated industry greats including Leonardo da Vinci, Charles and Ray Eames and our very own Design Director Katerina Zachariades. Budding designers then got the opportunity to try their hand at sketching their favourite Morgan chairs using pen and paper or iPads, which were later printed out and displayed on a dedicated wall in our showroom before being entered into a prize draw that will see one lucky winner win iPad.

Once the sketching workshops were complete, the Morgan team swapped sketching for drink serving – from a uniquely LED-lit paper bar by Molo Design – and our furniture-laced showroom transformed into Clerkenwell Design Week’s launch party.

It was a joy to see so many familiar faces – including our most recent collaborators Jones & Partners, Esprit PR, Hospitality Interiors, Sketch Studios, Svensson Interiors and branding agency Stills – show up to eagerly catch a glimpse of our debut showroom.

The entire day was a fantastic success – and we’d like to thank all our guests for their support – and for the overwhelmingly kind flood of feedback that has been pouring in all morning.
