At Morgan we believe that Britain is at the forefront of the art and design movement, and we would like to celebrate this talent with a series of exhibitions featuring British artists we admire.
Our first exhibition features South London born Remi Rough who has been breaking boundaries with the aid of a spray can and a paintbrush for over 27 years. Throughout the eighties he had a role in supporting the evolution of the UK graffiti art scene, then in the nineties became part of the Abstract Graffiti movement. Currently Remi’s bold paintings address the geometry of colour.
The Morgan furniture collections have come to life with some of Remi’s most dramatic work. With our private view taking place on the 10th of March, with great success. The evening brought together an eclectic mix of artists, designers, photographers, bloggers and architects, some of which left with a Remi painting of their own!
Previously by Remi Rough continues until the 27th March, see our events page for more details on this and upcoming events, or visit our Morgan London Pinterest board for the latest images.
