Hampton is a sofa range with a classic profile and contemporary detailing. With the same name as the Long Island seaside resort famous for its historical Summer colonies, The Hampton sets a mood which feels familiar and calming, but at the same time prestigious and in tune with the modern world. The Hampton collection, designed by Katerina Zachariades, is the latest from Morgan and has just been launched at London’s Sleep 09 exhibition.

The Hampton is a sofa range with a classic profile and contemporary detailing. With the same name as the Long Island seaside resort famous for its historical Summer colonies, The Hampton sets a mood which feels familiar and calming, but at the same time prestigious and in tune with the modern world. Elegant and with a compact footprint, Hampton is designed to suit all contract applications from boutique hotels to reception areas through to office interiors.

The collection includes an armchair, a lounge chair without arms and a dining chair. All are invitingly comfortable thanks to the deep, fully upholstered seat and buttoned back cushions are a key feature of the soft, classic styling.

Morgan design and develop all their products in a low energy consuming factory, using materials from sustainable sources. The company is accredited by FISP (Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme) and were among the first in the industry to achieve the BS8555 standard which has just been successfully converted to ISO14001 in November 2009. Morgan also form part of a lean and environmental improvement “think tank” with other British manufacturers.
