Morgan at CDW 2022
CDW 2022 preparations are now kicking off in full force. Here is an insight into the activities we have planned, from product launches to collaborations and events.
Renew
Our immersive exhibition, ‘Renew’, demonstrates the sustainable approach we take within our reupholstery process. Morgan products are made to last, with longevity considered at every stage of our design and manufacturing process. Our reupholstery programme offers our customers the opportunity to renew their Morgan products years, even decades after they were first delivered. Reupholstery can often prove to be a cost-effective solution, and sustainability is often the main motivation to refresh rather than replace.
We invite you to join us for an immersive experience, following the journey of four of our Pastille dining chairs on their way through the reupholstery process, to the point of delivery back to our customer; AELTC, renewed and ready for many years of Championships to come.

5pm – 6pm – Breathe Consciously Workshop
Curious about Breathwork and its benefits? Join us for an interactive talk, led by breath coach Rebecca Dennis of Breathing Tree. Giving us insight into the life source and its restorative and rejuvenating benefits. Rebecca has been practising holistic and alternative therapies for over 20 years.

6pm – 9pm – ‘Offcuts’ Private View
Offcuts by British artist Olly Fathers, is an exploration of a single set of wood offcuts, arranged in multiple compositions. The series celebrates this process of constant rotation and encourages the viewer to look closer at these previously disregarded forms, each of the six pieces are cut by hand.

6pm – 9pm – Live Jazz & Drinks PArty
Join us for our immersive exhibition ‘Renew’, demonstrating our sustainable reupholstery process at our UK factory, alongside our latest collections and a new lighting installation. The event will include a drinks party with a live Jazz band, in celebration of the return of CDW.

Art Installation – ‘Offcuts’ By Olly Fathers
The exhibition presents a large scale installation made up of six pieces. Olly Fathers is a multi-media artist working in mediums ranging from painting & sculpture to murals and collage. He has been making artwork with wood veneers using marquetry techniques.
The series of works, entitled ‘Offcuts’, are an exploration of a single set of wood offcuts, arranged in multiple compositions. Each work is cut by hand and with each work made, a new set of offcuts are created. The series celebrates this process of constant rotation and encourages the viewer to look closer at these previously disregarded forms.
New Product
Including Lugano, designed by Rock Galpin, drawing inspiration from human interactions, the collection explores the complex topic of ‘nurture’, interpreted through form and balance. The solid crafted timber frame cradles and gives confidence, whilst the soft wrap around arms of the upholstery hugs and supports.
Expanding the Porto collection with brand new barstools, the Oslo dining collection with a cane back option and Kaya collection with dining chairs, with the option of a slatted or cane back rest.
