Three innovative Designs Launching at CDW2016
Focusing on the theme of wellbeing in the work place we have explored what makes us more efficient, happier and more productive during our working day.
Our design team collaborated with Mehran Gharleghi in creating the Rio collection in 2015, inspired by natural forms, we have now extended the collection with the Rio Tables.
With longer workdays and busier schedules, our new Manhattan MN23 ‘Nap Booth’ offers a haven of calm and respite to reinvigorate and motivate.
Another aspect of wellbeing in the workplace we have explored is collaboration, with many industries and professions increasingly recognising the value of group thinking, collaborative working zones are more vital than ever before; gone are the days when we work in isolation!
Natures Forms in the Workplace Rio Tables designed by Morgan studio & studio INTEGRATE
Visitors who were wowed last year by the 3D printed Rio seating collection, can anticipate the launch of the Rio occasional tables also using 3D printing that will be unveiled during the event. A glass top floats over a polyamide 3D printed basket which links it to solid turned timber legs. A mix of an intricate ‘lacework’ component with a rational structure and form.
Haven of Calm Manhattan Nap Booth designed by Katerina Zachariades
The Manhattan Nap Booth is available with or without fretwork screens, to create further seclusion and sanctury. Featuring an optional aircharge® unit and reading light, just set your phone alarm for a 15 minute nap and escape! With the Manhattan aesthetic of fully upholstered modules this booth offers the potential for a relaxation zone within a busy workplace environment.
The Manhattan collection is now available with an integral timber table with hovering glass surface and storage area beneath; perfect for any break out area or reception space, this module is designed to sit alongside our existing Manhattan seating modules.
Collaboration in the Workplace Lucca Workbench & Stools designed by Morgan Studio
Our new Lucca 1937 workbench offers a standing height workstation with complimentary upholstered high stools. With a robust timber frame, available in beech, oak or walnut, the Lucca 1937 workbench enables collaborative meetings and hot desking. An aircharge® unit or data and power modules are available on request.
We can’t wait for everyone to see our new product and we welcome you all to pop in during Clerkenwell. With so much going on at this year’s event, hopefully there won’t be a queue for our Nap booths!
