Remi Rough – ‘Diptych_01’

From street to showroom, we are excited to announce that British artist Remi Rough has been working in our Clerkenwell showroom this week, creating a large mural across our double height wall. The installation includes an arrangement of organic curves, angular lines and bold colours that work together to create a stunning geometrical piece of art. This is part of our exploration in to art relaxation and the benefits of colour in the workplace.

Remi Rough has been exploring the geometry of colour for more than a quarter of a century, having begun his career on the walls and trains of South London, in 1984. Since, he has gone on to exhibit internationally, with one of his latest murals being in the Museum Mohamed VI, Morocco. A more familiar mural might be the exterior of the Megaro Hotel, just opposite St. Pancras International Station, in Kings Cross.
“The installation will transform how people view the space and change the modular angle of the walls.” – Remi Rough
Remi Rough will be discussing the development of his work and what street art means to him, from 4-5pm on Tuesday 24th May, prior to our drinks party, where you will have the opportunity to meet the artist and take in his art installation. We look forward to seeing you there!
